The existing house came down, the site was cut and retained, and two weatherboard homes went up in its place — one grey, one pale blue, each with its own garage and drive.
Work like this is as much about sequencing as it is about building: excavation, retaining, drainage, slabs, framing and finishing all had to land in the right order on a site with no room to spare. One point of contact ran the lot.
